In this episode of the TokStocks Podcast, we sit down with Jon Deluce, CEO of Abitibi Metals Corp. (CSE: AMQ), for a "First Look" to discuss their exciting exploration projects in one of Quebec's mineral-rich regions. With a focus on the B26 Deposit and Beschefer projects, Jon provides insights into their strategic approach, significant drill results, and the potential for substantial resource expansion. The Deluce family office has a lot riding on this venture, with approximately $3 million invested. Strategic investors include industry titans like Frank Giustra and Greg Chamandy, and the advisory team boasts mining experts such as Eric Kallio (Agnico Eagle and Kirkland Lake Gold) and Victor Cantore (Amex Exploration).

Management believes that the B26 Deposit is a standout asset for Abitibi Metals, as it features a historical resource of 6.97 Mt at 2.94% Cu Eq (Indicated) and 4.41 Mt at 2.97% Cu Eq (Inferred) using fairly high cut-offs and much lower metal values. The deposit, which contains significant amounts of copper, zinc, gold, and silver, remains open at depth and laterally. Management believes this asset has the potential to deliver an economic PEA with a minimum defined 20-to-30-million-ton high-grade copper equivalent resource. Abitibi Metals has secured an option to earn up to 80% of the B26 Deposit under favorable terms that they are on track to complete on years early, positioning the company for significant growth.

We're well into the dog days of summer and the market doldrums that we often see. Abitibi's shares have pulled back well off of its year highs and with approximately 18 months of fully funded exploration work and a firming up of copper prices, I'm looking at adding Abitibi to my resource portfolio.

Learn how Abitibi Metals is positioning itself to capitalize on the booming copper and gold markets with their near-term catalysts and experienced management team.
